Services and Fee Structure
Initial Consultations ~ presently via phone
All new clients will receive a complimentary 30 minute consultation.
Elder Care Doula - in person
In addition to being an End of Life Doula, Kristina is also a Certified Elder Care Doula.
Providing companionship to elders in need, this service will offer a break to full time caregivers. Kristina will keep your loved one safe and occupied for agreed upon lengths of time. Activities will be based on the needs and wants of the family and can be as fluid as needed.
(Services do not include administration of medication or bathing/personal care)
$30 per hour, 3 hour minimum per visit. Complimentary 30 minute phone consultation and 1 hour in person consultation.
End of Life Planning Package - in person when possible
Traditional burial or cremation? Green burial in a cardboard box (yes, it's a thing) or handmade wicker basket? Do you want to be on life support? Do you want pain medication? Do you want your family to wash and prepare your body for burial? How long do you want your family to keep your body at home to say goodbye? Who do you want to eulogize you? How have you documented your legacy? What even is your legacy?
These are just a few of the items Kristina will help guide you through during your End of Life Planning session. This is a two hour session with a complimentary 30 minute follow up to present your package. One copy of your package will be kept stored in our possession should your family need quick access to it.
$425 for two hour planning session, preparation of your package, 30 minute package presentation and review, and package storage.
End of Life Doula Services - in person when possible
Supporting both the caregiver and the actively dying client, services may include: liaising between hospice or medical team, setting up outside support services such as meals and/or housework help, organizing documents, providing relatives with status updates as agreed upon, coordinating visits, assisting with final wishes. End of life doula services are too many to mention and many are agreed upon during the consultation period and become fluid as needs change.
Kristina only takes one actively dying client at a time. You and your loved one will be the sole focus of attention.
(Services do not include: administering medications, moving the actively dying client, any personal care of the client. Your doula is not insured for this kind of care and these items are not negotiable.)
$35 per hour up to 40 hours per week - days and times to be agreed upon during consultation
Sacred Urn Opening - in person
Do you wish to open your loved one's urn to separate the ashes to give to family and friends? Did your loved one wish to be scattered in more than one location? This task oftentimes proves to be overwhelming for families. Kristina will assist in this process in one of two ways.
Surrounded by family and friends, Kristina will lead a prayerful meditation prior to opening the urn. Once the urn has been opened, family and friends wishing to participate will be guided to take turns scooping cremains into designated containers. 2 hours - $300 (includes supplies needed for process based on agreement with family)
Kristina will privately open the urn in a scared ceremony and separate cremains based on the family's specifications. Separated cremains will be returned to family within 48 hours max. $200 (includes supplies needed based on agreement with family)
Spiritual Coaching - via phone
Do you feel empty, lacking purpose, hopeless? Do you find you cannot connect with any power greater than yourself? Kristina can help you try to find the spark of living through this course. She will teach you ways to "pause" a hectic life, creating space for Spirit to enter. Entering into this coaching session requires the participant to be open to receive and a willingness to commit to change. Guided meditations and/or intuitive prayer may be included based on the client's needs and wants.
This stand alone service is a minimum of 6 weeks, with one 60 minute call per week. Depending on the needs of the client, the program may continue on a week by week basis. Complete confidentiality assured.
$450 for a 6 week session
$85 for each additional 60 minute session
Grief Doula Services ~ via phone
Are you stuck in grief? Whether you've lost a human or a pet, grief can sometimes be all consuming. It can lead to a feeling of loss of self and wreak havoc in all aspects of your life from home to work. If you feel like you will never be able to crawl out of the hole of grief, then this 6 session coaching program may be just what you need. Find ways to honor your loved one, honor your own feelings and learn how to move forward in life.
This stand alone service is a minimum of 6 weeks, with one 60 minute call per week for four weeks followed by two 60 minute calls once a month for two months. Depending on the needs of the client, the program may continue on a week by week basis. Complete confidentiality assured.
$450 for a 6 week session
$75 for each additional 60 minute session
Forgiveness Resolution - via phone
Together, we will identify issues in your life where you are holding onto anger and bitterness towards yourself or someone else. In this program, we will identify why you are holding onto these burdens. You will learn techniques to release this pain that is holding you back. We will talk about what forgiveness is and how to use it to remove energetic blocks in your life.
This stand alone service is a minimum of 6 weeks, with one 60 minute call per week. Depending on the needs of the client, the program may last up to 10 weeks. Complete confidentiality assured.
$570 for a 6 week session
$110 for each additional week thereafter
Eulogy Preparation Support - via email and/or phone
Have you been tasked to write a eulogy? Kristina will guide you through this process, proofread and help you prepare for your delivery.
$25 per hour
Funeral Celebrant
One hour meeting with the family prior to the funeral, one hour memorial service, and one hour graveside.
$300 for three hours, $75 per hour thereafter
Virtual Services Available
For long distance caregivers and Covid19 protection, virtual appointments via Zoom or FaceTime are available. This includes virtual bedside visits.
